These botanical oils have been used over thousands of years all over the world and are deemed to be safe and effective against numerous insects including various species of mosquitoes (some may carry West Nile Virus), flies, gnats, black flies, ticks, mites, and various other arthropods.
Our natural insect repellent products (including insect repellent with 39% active ingredients) have undergone rigorous testing over a period of eighteen months including evaluation in controlled studies with human subjects (n = 5) for repellency to black salt marsh mosquitoes (Ochlerotatus taeniorhynchus Wiedemann), in the Everglades National Park, FL.
